As these are quite old works I need to update my blog a bit. I am quite attracted by facebook so far and like to spend time on this platform as if I post a drawing, there are immediately reactions on it by some of my friends or not. Well, it depends. Of course I love to surf around what else possibilities the internet offers and in my profession it is sometimes hard to distinguish between commissioned and private work. Or the other way round: I use facebook and blog and design crowd for example because it is as well a kind of exhibition supported by the internet. So what I do right now is a job I found on design crowd where there is asked to develop a character for a brand. But I see by myself that the characters I draw would be good for a fairytale and could not stand for a logo. They are not significant enough. By that objective view on my own work, I then use that job simply as an inspiration that could perhaps lead to something else, something more literally perhaps than advertising. But I don't mind if this occasion just made me draw, because than it is already something. I like it:
